Men are different than women (duh). 

1. If you say the words makeup or cosmetics, most guys will run away. That’s why our hybrid skin care focuses on using tried and true ingredients to also deliver real benefits to your skin. We know most men want solutions. We don’t want to cover up our face just for the fun of it.  

2. Biologically, our skin is a lot thicker, more oily, and prone to irritations because we sweat and shave often. We’ve tested hundreds of formulas to tailor our solutions specifically to the nuances in men's skin. 

3. And for guys, skin care is personal. When you see a typical cosmetic product, most guys will scratch their head and turn red. We value discretion because we believe guys deserve access to products they can use without feeling insecure. Guys who just want effective and simple skin care without the glamor (and price tag).

Of course, we all have different comfort levels when working with skin products. If you’re comfortable using female products, then that's awesome! Healthy skin is an individual journey, and we hope to be one more resource to support guys along the way.

It’s short for West Oakland. We were founded in a vibrant (and historically neglected) community located in the middle of the San Francisco Bay Area.

We get it. Skin stuff can be overwhelming. There's tons of products out there and you really don't want one more thing on your bathroom counter. 

That's why we are building WOAK to be different than the rest. We’re creating untraditional, yet approachable skin solutions that you can’t find anywhere else (because we’ve looked). 

- We’re NOT fancy. No shiny packaging. Nobody to impress.
- We’re NOT expensive. No extra markup just cuz you’re a guy.
- We’re NOT embarrassing. No hiding in drawers and feeling insecure.
- We’re NOT complicated. No 10 step routine. So simple even a guy can use it.  

We are tackling male stigmas head-on. It’s about time for guys to feel comfortable taking care of their own skin!

Controversial question! Here's our take:

Skin care (two words) = noun

Skincare (one word) = adjective

e.g. I love using WOAK skincare products for my skin care.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you would like to modify or cancel an order. We will try our best, but once an order is placed, we cannot make any guarantees. Our system automatically starts the fulfillment process and orders are shipped out within 1 to 3 business days.

Your order confirmation email provides a link specific to your order. Feel free to check your order status and delivery information at any time. If you did not receive an order confirmation email, shoot us a quick note at contact@woakskin.com and we'll help you out.

Skin care shouldn't be difficult. And neither should the buying experience.

We offer a flexible exchange policy so you have one less thing to worry about. Just reach out to us at contact@woakskin.com if you have any questions. 

Exchanges

Each order is eligible for one (1) free exchange of the same product of equal or lesser value. Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of your order delivery date. You'll be responsible for paying shipping and handling costs. You may be required to first return the original item. Once we receive the original item, we will process and ship a replacement unit to you. 

Refunds

For safety (and obvious) reasons, we cannot accept returns for used items. 

For unused or damaged/defective items, you must request a refund within 30 days of your order delivery date. After this window, we cannot accept returns. We will provide a full refund, minus any original shipping fees. You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the item(s) in its original condition and packaging. Once we receive and accept your original item(s), we will process your refund via your original payment method.

For whatever reason, if you are not satisfied with your order, please let us know. Your thoughts and feedback are important to us and we will always try our best to make things right!

Shipping Issues

We, unfortunately, cannot be held responsible if your order is lost/stolen or if you provided any incorrect shipping details. We cannot issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered.

Free standard shipping (USPS Ground Advantage) only applies to domestic orders shipped within the USA (excludes US Territories). Orders are processed 1 - 3 business days after your order date. You will be automatically notified by email with tracking information.

International Shipping

We currently only ship to Canada (eh!). Thank you for your patience as we continue to launch internationally. Let us know if you're itching to try us out in your country! Please note that upon delivery, any additional customs, taxes, or import duties will be the sole responsibility of the receiving customer.
